 Aussie Writer's World is a site which is dedicated to helping talented Australian
writers establish themselves in the writing world. (Overseas writers
are also welcome, of course!)
Our services include:
WEB BASED PUBLISHING Firstly, we offer a web site development service especially for authors, through Cre@tive Knowhow, our internet consultancy firm. It is avsilable to any author, wishing to publish online and even includes e-commerce facilities to sell your work online. TRADITIONAL PUBLISHING Secondly, we can offer a traditional publishing service to authors whom we consider are excellent in their field and who would really fit well with our current offerings. We feature all of our own published authors on this web site, along with great writers whose works have come from other publishers. Please note,
however, that we are not vanity publishers and as such, have very
strict acceptance regulations on our traditional titles. This does
not mean however, that you need not apply. We encourage writers to
submit their work to our consultants and we will either accept or reject
it (politely). It doesn't cost anything to submit and if we decide that
your work has potential, then we will advise you via email to discuss
your options. All submissions must adhere to our Submission Guidelines.
(See Submit Your Work) Evaluation Service We also provide an evaluation service to aspiring new authors, who would like some "genuine" feedback. You know that those who love you will promise to read your work and give you their "honest" opinion. But it is not easy for them to do this, because they are too close to you. Secondly, they may not be the "ideal" reader of your work, as your subject matter, genre, or style might not suit their personal preferences. This is where our evaluation service is "invaluable". We will read your manuscript, give it to TWO independent "evaluation" experts to read, and compile a report on the combined results. This will include our considered opinion, as to whether it is ready for publication, and details of just how you can fix it up, if it is (in our opinion), not yet ready and in need of major developmental work. The cost for this service depends on the length of the manuscript. Generally speaking, it starts from $300 for a small manuscript, $500 for a medeium sized manuscript and $750 for a large manuscript.
