About CITA
The Canberra Indonesian Teachers Association is an active
group of teachers who are passionate about teaching Indonesian
culture and language to students of all ages. The Association
has been in operation since the late 70s and has been responsible
for organizing many events and functions at which teachers
can get together and provide support for each other in a "niche"
language marketplace.
The Association welcomes newcomers, from any education system
and from any geographical area, but it primarily serves the
Canberra and surrounding districts.
This web site was set up to become a "meeting point",
where dissemination of information can take place in an efficient
manner and where teachers who may be isolated in their teaching
positions can come to get help, information, advice, teaching
ideas and contact from the other members of the organization.
We would like to encourage ALL teachers of Indonesian to be "pro-active" in using this web site, by contributing items of interest to us all to be posted on the site.
All contributions are welcome, but the site is moderated in order to reduce spam.
Please use the BLOG for general comments/posts and the WIKI for listing and recommending resources.
