This is a blog about and for Aussie writers, and is particularly aiming to identify, serve and promote newly emerging Australian authors who write exceptionally well.
In other words, the mission is to expose and help to promote high quality Australian writing.
This is a long term, not for profit project, commenced in 2011, but being properly launched (with its own new web site) in 2012. The reason for this is that we are currently sourcing talented writers AND the funding to go with this ambitious project.
Please Note: This process is selective and we will only promote writing which is deemed to be of high quality.
Submissions are accepted, but no promises are made. Having said that, we urge you to submit if you genuinely feel that you have talent and that you have polished writing to submit for consideration.
Meanwhile, we urge you to follow us on Twitter for upcoming announcements. www.twitter.com/aussiewriters

Other Services
In 2012 we offer a number of valuable eCourses for writers:
This web site is a “gift” bookshop, and bit by bit, we are sourcing excellent emerging Australian writing talent, with which to fill it. We are being highly selective, and only the writers who present work of substance will be offered for sale.
We are starting to build something that we hope will be a significant contribution to promoting the best quality Australian writing emerging today.
There is a perceived need for websites like this one, because in the publishing world, madly led by our “PRIZE DRIVEN CULTURE”, new writers need all the help they can get to be noticed. With the current stormy waters surrounding the eBook revolution, they need even more help than before.
We will do our bit here:-)

Hi,
Just wanted to connect with you. I’m a professional writer in the U.S.; nonetheless, I would like to be a part of your promotional efforts, whether I post about some of your up-and-coming writers or you share some of my posts on your blog.
I just finished my first novel, “The Obedient Son,” and, already, you have given me some ideas for marketing it. Thanks.
You are very welcome, David! The reason we are promoting Aussie writing talent is because the US dominates and it’s hard for our writers to be noticed in the noise:-) But I always welcome writers, wherever they are from and your idea of cross posting interests me too. (Cross promotion is always a win/win situation for both parties and a good marketing tool too.) I will check out your site and get back to you. Happy New Year!
I appecriate you taking to time to contribute That’s very helpful.
